🚀 DESCRIPTION:

Client on-site Senior Surface Designer.
Hybrid Modeller - With skills to work with both Concept and Class-A.
Design is a crucial part of creating our clients brand – a product identity for the clients customer to relate to, if you will. The design of our clients prosucts are strongly influenced by Scandinavian origins, with elegance, function and purity of lines as strong design elements. You will be responsible for creating digital design models in the late phases of the design process (Class-A Surfacing) with close cooperation with project managers, designers, studio engineers and suppliers.

💫 YOUR PROFILE

With the above in mind, we are currently looking for a number of  Senior Surface Designer with excellent skills in preferred Alias f for our clients digital modelling Interior & exterior team. The task will be to develop exterior/ interior surface models in all phases of the design process. Main input will be sketches, rough alias models from designers and scan data from clay models combined with technical input from our studio engineers. A good sense of form, ability to build models with class-A quality and a “nothing is impossible attitude” is required. We expect you to be a self-going, top of the line modeller with at least 4 years of experience from the automotive business. You know the technical prerequisites of cars, and experience from both interior and exterior modelling is a merit.You will also need good verbal skills in English.

• Skilled with Alias 
• Knowledge of Poly modelling (Blender, Sub-D..etc) an advantage.
• Visualisation software (Vred, Unreal, Keyshot knowledge is also an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• 5 Years plus in the automotive Design area.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Understand and pick up the designer thoughts with ease
  
  

✅ REQUIREMENTS

• Very deep complete vehicle engineering knowledge.
  
• Min 5 years Automotive experience with relevant experience
  
• Complete understanding of vehicle development process
• Leader skills is advantage
  
• Very good digital modelling experience
  
• Ability to work in cross functional teams and being able to take a leading role.
  
• Technical university, working experience from automotive industry is required.
  
• Aesthetic sensitive environments.
• Nothing is impossible attitude.
