You will be based at our client on the west coast of Sweden. Our client is a European research and development organisation working on next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems. This is a longterm, full-time, on-site assignment.

📝 JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a SW Verification Engineer (Integration functional test) to join the SW Verification team. You are responsible for the functional verification of complete electrical systems ahead of software release for EU market vehicles. You work closely with the China team and execute verification and develop test methods in the Complete Electrical Integration area as part of the Integration test team in Sweden.

Examples of major tasks:

• Run test cases (directed and exploratory), analyse results, and debug software failures in the SWIM system.

• Create verification test methods and update test environments (test cars).

• Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and test leaders to understand and fix issues identified at vehicle level.

Tools on the assignment: Vector tools such as CANoe or CANalyzer, and Jira.

✅ REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.

• 3+ years' experience of automotive and integration of embedded systems.

• Relevant experience of Integration and functional domain test in vehicle.

• Experience driving automotive tests in vehicles.

• Ability to drive, motivate and convince.

• Good English (spoken and written).

• Valid driving licence for Sweden.

• Available for on-site work on the west coast of Sweden, longterm full-time (100%).

Interest in cars and experience in driving. Strong test analysis skills. Cultural awareness, especially China–European working cultures. Collaborative, structured and comfortable working across software, hardware and test leadership.
