You will be based at our client on the west coast of Sweden. Our client is a European research and development organisation working on next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems. This is a longterm, full-time, on-site assignment.

📝 JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a Facility Management Lead to support R&D and Design teams as the point of contact for facility-related matters. You will oversee and optimize the facility portfolio — efficient operations, cost effectiveness, and a high-quality working environment — including negotiations, contract management, landlord relations, and strategic workplace solutions.

Key areas of involvement:

• Facility contract management: manage assigned facility-related contracts, lead negotiations, terminations, subleasing opportunities, and contractual modifications; monitor contract durations proactively.

• Landlord and external interface: maintain lease overview and professional relationships with landlords and external stakeholders.

• Facility utilization and optimization: monitor usage, identify trends, improve space efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Strategic improvement initiatives: lead workplace functionality, employee experience, and cost-performance improvements.

• Project leadership: lead facility-related changes, office updates and relocations with stakeholder alignment.

• Commercial & asset management: support disposal and upkeep of facility assets (furniture and equipment).

• Governance, safety & compliance: take part in safety walks for assigned common office areas.

• Insurance portfolio support: coordinate with the Head of Facility Management and the company insurance broker.

✅ REQUIREMENTS

• 8–12+ years of experience in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Knowledge of working in R&D and Design environments.

• Experience in budget management and cost management.

• Experience in negotiations and contract management.

• Full driving licence.

• Strong financial acumen, communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness; hands-on problem solver with project leadership skills.

• Office 365 & SharePoint; SAP knowledge is meritorious.

• Available for on-site work on the west coast of Sweden, longterm full-time (100%).
